Our Approach

We believe the right financial advice starts with a conversation, not a sales pitch.

Our Process

1

We’ll get to know you

2

We’ll show you what’s possible

3

We’ll work out if we’re a good fit

4

We’ll deliver your personal plan, in black & white

5

We’ll grow
& change together

Our process is built around five steps, not because process matters for its own sake, but because each step builds the trust and clarity needed for everything that follows.

How We Work

A process built around you, not around paperwork

Before we discuss investments or strategies, we talk about you: your life, your goals and what financial clarity would mean for the way you want to live. Here is what you can expect when we work together:

A couple reviewing their financial plans

We start by listening, not advising.

We begin by understanding where you are now and where you want to go. We will ask about your financial position, as well as your life, priorities, concerns and the goals that matter most to you and your family. This understanding is the foundation for everything that follows. The better we know you, the more valuable our advice can be.

We show you exactly where you stand. And what’s possible for your future

At our second meeting, we present a clear analysis of your current financial position and a draft strategy for how we'd bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to go. This is where you start to see the shape of a real plan: not just a portfolio, but a coordinated approach to building, protecting, and eventually transferring your wealth. This plan becomes the foundation for everything we do together.

We only work together if it’s genuinely right for both of us

This is one of the most important stages in our process. Before proceeding, we openly assess whether we are the right fit for one another. We share our initial thinking and confirm that we can add meaningful value to your financial life. If we believe we can, and you agree, we formalise our engagement and begin developing your plan. This mutual commitment establishes a relationship built on trust, not obligation.

Everything agreed, documented with care.

We document your personalised plan clearly and carefully. Your Statement of Advice addresses the relevant elements of your financial position, which may include investment structure, tax considerations, estate planning, risk management and insurance, together with the steps required to put the recommendations into action. We take you through it, answer your questions and ensure you are comfortable before proceeding. Where needed, we coordinate with your accountant, solicitor and other professional advisers, giving you one central point of contact.

An ongoing relationship, not a set-and-forget arrangement.

Life changes, and your financial plan should evolve with it. We meet with you regularly to review your progress, revisit your goals and ensure your strategy continues to reflect your circumstances. Whether you experience a career move, a family change or a shift in the world around you, we adapt alongside you. Our long-term clients value the confidence of knowing that an experienced, trusted adviser is paying attention.

Start here

We begin with a discovery meeting, in person, Teams call or phone call, to understand your situation, goals and priorities, at no cost and with no pressure. If it’s a good fit, we’ll outline the scope of our advice in an engagement letter and move forward together.
