Nigel Baker holds a Bachelor Commerce, is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, Registered Tax Agent and Director of Australian Financial Services Licence Pooledfunds Pty Ltd.

Nigel has 20 years experience in accounting, banking and financial advice and for the previous 10 years has owned and run his own practice and independent AFSL.

Prior to starting Arch Capital, Nigel was a Partner of large ASX listed accounting group for 9 years. He was the head of the Sydney wealth management division for that company.

This role included being on the executive management team of the national financial advice group with 120 financial advisers and $9bn funds under management. He was also part of the executive team managing the Sydney practice with annual revenue of $50m.

Nigel founded Arch Capital in July 2012, which now manages appx $200m of client funds along with the tax and SMSF business.

He has three young children, and is also very active in his local community, currently standing as the President of Newport Junior Rugby Club (volunteer role).

The business has actively supported the Humpty Dumpty Foundation running a number of charity swims raising over $40,000.
