About Arch Capital.
Nigel Baker founded Arch Capital in 2012 , after 10 years as a Partner and Head of Wealth management for one of Australia’s largest Chartered Accounting Firms.
He has three children and lives with his wife Keiva and kids on Sydney’s Northern beaches. As well as running the business and a busy family life he is the President of Newport Junior rugby club having been involved in the game from the age of 7 with Lindfield, Newington College, Gordon rugby club and Saracens London.
Nigel has been recognised as a leading adviser. As a Chartered Accountant, Registered Tax Agent and Certified Financial Planner he has proven expertise and over 20 years in the industry.

Nigel Baker holds a Bachelor Commerce, is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, Registered Tax Agent and Director of Australian Financial Services Licence Pooledfunds Pty Ltd.
Nigel has 20 years experience in accounting, banking and financial advice and for the previous 10 years has owned and run his own practice and independent AFSL.
Prior to starting Arch Capital, Nigel was a Partner of large ASX listed accounting group for 9 years. He was the head of the Sydney wealth management division for that company.
This role included being on the executive management team of the national financial advice group with 120 financial advisers and $9bn funds under management. He was also part of the executive team managing the Sydney practice with annual revenue of $50m.
Nigel founded Arch Capital in July 2012, which now manages appx $200m of client funds along with the tax and SMSF business.
He has three young children, and is also very active in his local community, currently standing as the President of Newport Junior Rugby Club (volunteer role).
The business has actively supported the Humpty Dumpty Foundation running a number of charity swims raising over $40,000.

How much does a financial advisor cost?
After our discovery meeting we will provide you with a terms of engagement At Arch Capital we charge fees for the initial and any additional strategy advice, and ensure that your investment costs are world class and very reasonably priced
How do financial advisors get paid?
All staff at Arch Capital are rewarded via salary, with owners also remunerated via distributions or profits form the business Staff are also offered employs shares . We do not accept or use products that reward us via commission or any form of conflicted remuneration.
What is value based investing?
At Arch Capital we use evidence and science as a basis for constructing portfolios rather than trying to guess what will happen or using investment managers that typically make bets and charge higher fees The benefit to you is greater certainty reliability, better chance of success and lower costs

We have offices in Mona Vale and Sydney CBD, and can of course meet via an online meeting
